Maid of Honor Duties: The Ultimate MOH Checklist
Did you know that being a maid of honor today is not quite what it used to be? With weddings being so different from what our mothers experienced, there’s much more to it than just wearing a fancy dress and carrying a bouquet.
In fact, the tradition of having a maid of honor dates back to ancient Rome. The maid of honor was originally known as the “chief bridesmaid,” Her duties included accompanying the bride to the groom’s village and helping to fend off any potential kidnappers or vengeful suitors.
We’ve tapped the best wedding planners and gathered their advice to make the most of your MOH experience.
